Understanding the barriers
Financial pressure, interrupted schooling, exclusion and practical barriers can affect a girl’s chance to enter or remain in school. KADEF’s approach connects community engagement, identification of barriers, school relationships and appropriate support or referral.
KADEF’s reported education support
For 23 September–20 October 2026, KADEF reports 50 adolescent girls supported to return to school and 20 children under 10 enrolled in school, in Gwoza, Borno State, and Yola South, Adamawa State. These education results are included within the reported 1,310+ unique people reached; they are not added to it. The source is KADEF’s first Interim Report for Q4, confirmed by KADEF management.
From return to continued participation
The education direction is to link re-entry with attention to attendance, family engagement and emerging dropout risks, within approved programme capacity. SkoolTime may help participating schools organise relevant information, but direct education assistance is separate and is not conditional on using that platform.
Supporting a child’s next chapter
KADEF retains its confirmed USD 10 education-support message. Contributions are handled through the existing giving pathway and the approved purpose of the relevant activity. Educational needs vary; the message is not a universal estimate of every child’s full schooling cost or an automatic guarantee of re-enrolment.
Safe enquiries and referrals
Schools, families and organisations can contact official@kadef.org to ask about educational support or appropriate referral options. Do not send confidential child profiles, case histories or identifying records through a public enquiry. Use KADEF’s safeguarding and concern-reporting pathways for sensitive matters; an enquiry does not guarantee a placement or award.
