Safeguarding, dignity and reporting concerns
KADEF’s commitments to do no harm, informed choice, confidentiality and responsible reporting.
Safety and dignity
KADEF’s safeguarding policy centres safety, dignity, informed choice, confidentiality, non-discrimination and survivor-centred practice. These commitments apply to community activities, communications and the conduct of personnel.
Photographs and personal stories
Identifiable photographs require consent and safeguarding review before publication. A person shown in a community photograph is not identified as a survivor or assigned a personal case history. Confidential registers, case-management details and exact household locations are not public website resources.
Raise a concern
For an initial safeguarding concern, contact official@kadef.org or call +234 703 475 9363. Start with a brief message and your preferred safe contact route. Ask for an appropriate follow-up channel before sharing sensitive case details. The general enquiry form is not a confidential case-management system.
Information handling
Our policy calls for privacy, data minimisation and access on a need-to-know basis. Concerns should be handled with attention to safety and protection from retaliation. Do not send identity documents, financial identifiers or detailed survivor information through the public contact form.
Emergency assistance
This website and its general contact channels do not provide emergency dispatch or a continuously monitored emergency service.
