Why KADEF acquired SkoolTime
KADEF acquired SkoolTime from Planet Tech 360 Technologies and holds exclusive product rights. It supports school administration within the Foundation’s wider education mission, alongside community engagement and direct education support.
Documented platform capabilities
Available product documentation describes learner and guardian management, attendance, score entry and assessment, examination review, report preparation, result PINs, school administration, fee administration, parent communication and teacher learning tools. Access depends on the deployed version, enabled modules and staff permissions. A demonstration will establish which functions fit a participating school; no automatic learning improvement is promised.
The KADEF access model
Participating schools have access without conventional recurring school software subscription charges. Initial onboarding, orientation and training are free. For schools using final academic result publication, the termly final-result PIN costs NGN 500 per student per academic term. This is a result-access charge, distinct from access to unrelated platform modules; the programme is not unconditionally free.
Result access and programme sustainability
Each PIN purchase covers one student’s final result for one academic term, with repeated access to that same purchased result forever. A different term’s final result requires its own termly PIN; the earlier purchased result remains accessible. Result-access revenue supports platform sustainability and related educational services. No PIN payment is collected on kadef.org.
Clear information before participation
School participation includes an explanation of final-result PIN charges, school responsibilities, support arrangements and privacy safeguards. Schools can ask KADEF about any assistance needs or payment concerns before onboarding. An interest submission does not authorise a charge or bind a school to a contract.
Frequently asked questions: existing software
A school may discuss phased migration or a managed transition. What can be transferred depends on source formats, permissions and readiness. Do not upload learner records to the public interest form.
Frequently asked questions: devices and connectivity
Connectivity, device availability and staff readiness are considered during assessment. Product documentation includes offline-related workflows, but schools should verify the specific workflows and limitations during a demonstration rather than assuming full offline operation.
Frequently asked questions: privacy and support
School roles, access permissions, data ownership and controller/processor responsibilities must be agreed before student information is exchanged. Initial orientation and support arrangements are discussed with each school; this page does not promise an unapproved response-time guarantee.
