School enquiry privacy and safeguarding

This notice covers the adult institutional school-interest form on kadef.org. It does not authorise transfer of learner records.

Who handles your enquiry

Kabulu Development Foundation (KADEF) receives school-interest enquiries. Contact official@kadef.org about access, correction, withdrawal of contact consent, deletion requests or concerns. The enquiry is used to review participation and arrange appropriate follow-up, based on the permission requested in the form.

Information collected

School name, public/private type, Nigerian state and local government area, adult contact name, official email and preferred contact method are required. A phone number is required only for a requested phone response. Approximate population, current systems, operational challenges and areas of interest are optional. Do not include student names, results, attendance records, health data or sensitive case details.

Access and communication

Access is limited to authorised KADEF staff with school-record permissions and the service providers used to host the website and deliver transactional notifications. The service sends a reference acknowledgement and a staff notice; an acknowledgement is not acceptance for onboarding. School enquiries are not publicly listed or sold, and contact consent does not subscribe you to the newsletter.

Retention and your choices

KADEF keeps enquiry information for the participation review and necessary follow-up. You may ask KADEF to stop contact or review removal of your details. Operational retention and any applicable record-keeping duties will be considered when handling a request. Student-level processing requires a separate agreed purpose, lawful basis, secure process and safeguarding assessment before collection.

Security and complaints

The form uses protected submission and staff access controls. Please avoid sending confidential material by email. You may raise a concern through KADEF’s contact and safeguarding pathways and may contact the Nigeria Data Protection Commission about data-protection rights. Consent to an initial enquiry does not resolve all obligations for any future child-data processing.
