Education, inclusion and community participation: KADEF’s reporting update

Results from 23 September–20 October 2026: education support, disability inclusion and community engagement in Gwoza and Yola South.

Our first reporting period

From 23 September to 20 October 2026, Kabulu Development Foundation's community work reached more than 1,310 unique people in Gwoza, Borno State, and Yola South, Adamawa State. The figures are drawn from KADEF first Interim Report for Q4 and cover education support, inclusion and community engagement.

Education and the opportunity to return

Fifty adolescent girls were supported to return to school, and 20 children under 10 were enrolled in school. These education results are included within the overall reach. They are not additional people to be added to the 1,310+ total.

Inclusion and community voice

KADEF's activities include assistive-device distribution, support around the International Day of the Girl Child, and sensitisation and awareness on land protection and women's rights. The aggregate brings together different forms of support and engagement; it does not imply that everyone received the same service or intensity of assistance.

How the figures are counted

The overall indicator counts unique people, with repeat participation counted once. Awareness participants are included on the same unique-person basis. KADEF reports the education indicators separately to describe the type of support within the aggregate, rather than to inflate the total.

Where this work took place

The reporting locations are Gwoza in Borno State and Yola South in Adamawa State. KADEF's institutional base is Yola. These reported activities should be distinguished from the Foundation's wider thematic priorities and future programme plans.

Public accountability

The Our Impact and Evidence pages present the reporting period, source and indicators together. Questions about these results or KADEF's activities can be sent to official@kadef.org. Personal beneficiary records and confidential case information are not published.
