Safe water. Safe toilets. Everyday dignity.
A reliable water point changes an ordinary day. Ask institutions to make safe water and dignified sanitation part of every displacement response.

Water is part of the day before almost everything else: drinking, preparing a meal, washing and caring for a family. When a supply fails, those tasks become harder, and time has to be found somewhere.
A useful response goes beyond installing a facility. It includes water-quality checks, maintenance, safe access and a way for communities to report a problem and receive a response.
This petition asks institutions to protect those everyday essentials, with displaced families, host communities and persons with disabilities included in the planning.
The barrier can change.
Safe water, sanitation and hygiene are essential to health and dignity. A useful response considers reliability, maintenance, accessibility, privacy and the safety of the people who use its facilities.
KADEF calls for institutions to plan beyond installation and make communities part of service oversight, including women, girls and persons with disabilities.
